Rat control in London
Rats rarely stay in one place. By the time you hear them in the loft or see droppings in the garden, there is usually a run between a food source and a harbourage. We survey drains, cavities and roofline, treat the infestation and seal the route in — because baiting alone never ends a rat problem.

In short
How rats treatment works
Rat control works in two parts: removal and proofing. A technician surveys the property to find the entry point, deploys tamper-resistant bait stations or traps along the active run, then seals gaps larger than 15mm in brickwork, drains, air bricks and rooflines. Most domestic infestations are cleared in two to three visits.
Covered by a written guarantee — if the treated pest returns inside the cover period, we come back and re-treat free of charge.
Signs to look for
Do you have a problem?
- Scratching or scurrying overhead at night, usually in lofts or cavity walls
- Dark, tapered droppings 15–20mm long near food or along walls
- Gnawed cables, packaging, skirting boards or decking
- Greasy smear marks along skirting, joists and pipe runs
- Burrows in decking, compost heaps or beside garden walls
Not certain? Send us a photo — we identify it before you commit to anything.

Rats FAQ
What customers ask before booking
How quickly can you deal with rats?+
Same-day emergency slots are available every weekday and most weekends. Call before midday and we can usually attend the same afternoon.
How many visits does rat control take?+
Most domestic rat jobs take two or three visits — an initial treatment, a check and top-up, and a proofing and sign-off visit.
Is rat poison safe around pets and children?+
Yes when used correctly. We use tamper-resistant bait stations, place them out of reach, and use trapping instead of rodenticide where pets or wildlife make bait unsuitable.
Do you fix where the rats got in?+
Yes. Proofing is included — we seal cavity gaps, air bricks, pipe runs and roofline defects, and flag any broken drain that needs a specialist.
