Moth treatment in London

It isn't the moths flying around the room that cause the damage — it's the larvae feeding quietly in wool carpet, under furniture and in the folds of stored clothing. Treating the visible adults achieves nothing. We treat the larval harbourage across wardrobes, carpet edges and undisturbed floor areas.

In short

How moths treatment works

Moth treatment targets larvae, not adults. A technician applies a residual insecticide to wardrobes, carpet edges, under furniture and stored textiles, and treats pantry moths at the food source. Heavily infested items should be laundered at 60°C or frozen for 72 hours.

Covered by a written guarantee — if the treated pest returns inside the cover period, we come back and re-treat free of charge.

Signs to look for

Do you have a problem?

  • Small irregular holes in wool, cashmere or silk garments
  • Bare or thinning patches in wool carpet under furniture and along edges
  • Silken tubes, webbing or gritty frass in wardrobes and drawers
  • Small cream larvae in stored dry goods, flour, rice or pet food
  • Adult moths fluttering low around skirting rather than to the light

Not certain? Send us a photo — we identify it before you commit to anything.

Moths FAQ

What customers ask before booking

Why do moths keep coming back?+

Because the larvae source hasn't been treated. Adults are the symptom; carpets, wardrobes and stored textiles are the cause.

Will treatment damage my clothes or carpets?+

No. Products are applied to label on textiles and carpets, and we brief drying and re-entry times before leaving.

How many visits are needed?+

One visit clears most cases. Established infestations in large properties or hotels usually need a second.

Do you treat hotels and multi-room properties?+

Yes — room-by-room programmes with discreet unmarked vehicles are standard for our hospitality clients.
