Ant control in London

Spraying a trail kills the workers and leaves the queen laying. That's why supermarket products give you a quiet week and then the same trail again. We bait with a professional gel that foragers carry back and share, which collapses the colony at source — including pharaoh ants in blocks of flats.

In short

How ants treatment works

Effective ant control uses a slow-acting gel bait carried back to the nest by foraging workers, destroying the queen and colony rather than only the visible ants. Treatment is normally a single visit for garden ants, with a follow-up for pharaoh ants or multi-nest infestations.

Covered by a written guarantee — if the treated pest returns inside the cover period, we come back and re-treat free of charge.

Signs to look for

Do you have a problem?

  • A defined trail of ants along worktops, skirting or window frames
  • Fine piles of soil or grit between paving slabs or at wall bases
  • Flying ants indoors in mid-summer, indicating a mature nest nearby
  • Tiny yellow-brown pharaoh ants in heated blocks or hospitals — these need specialist baiting
  • Ant activity concentrated around pet food, bins or sugary spills

Our process

What a visit involves

01

Identify the species

Garden, pharaoh and ghost ants need different baits — species identification comes first.

02

Trace the trail

We follow the foraging route back towards the nest or nest entry point.

03

Gel baiting

Professional bait placed on the trail so workers carry the active back to the queen.

04

Review

Activity should stop within days; we revisit for multi-nest or pharaoh ant infestations.

Ants FAQ

What customers ask before booking

Why do ants come back after I spray them?+

Sprays kill foragers only. The queen keeps producing, so the trail returns. Baiting is what removes the colony.

How long does ant treatment take to work?+

You'll usually see activity increase for a day as ants feed on the bait, then drop away over three to seven days.

Is the treatment safe around pets?+

Yes — gel is applied in cracks and out of reach, and we brief you on re-entry and cleaning before we leave.

Do you treat pharaoh ants?+

Yes. Pharaoh ants must never be sprayed — it splits the colony. We use a dedicated baiting programme across affected units.
