Flea treatment in London

Only around 5% of a flea infestation is on the pet — the rest is eggs, larvae and pupae in carpets, cracks and soft furnishings. Household sprays don't reach the pupae, which is why bites keep starting again. Our residual treatment stays active through the hatch cycle and ends the infestation.

In short

How fleas treatment works

Flea treatment is a professional residual insecticide applied to carpets, floor edges, soft furnishings and pet bedding areas. It remains active for several weeks so newly hatched fleas are killed as they emerge. Vacuuming daily after treatment triggers dormant pupae and speeds up the result.

Covered by a written guarantee — if the treated pest returns inside the cover period, we come back and re-treat free of charge.

Signs to look for

Do you have a problem?

  • Itchy bites clustered around ankles and lower legs
  • Pets scratching, biting at the base of the tail or losing fur
  • Black specks (flea dirt) in pet bedding that turn red-brown when damp
  • Small dark insects jumping from carpet when you walk across it
  • Bites starting after moving into a property that previously had pets

Fleas FAQ

What customers ask before booking

How long does flea treatment take to work?+

Adult fleas die within hours, but pupae can hatch for up to two weeks. Expect the property to be clear inside 14–21 days.

Do I need to treat my pet too?+

Yes. Your vet's product handles the pet; we handle the property. Doing only one guarantees a repeat infestation.

When can we walk on the carpet again?+

Once the treatment is fully dry, usually two to four hours. We brief exact re-entry timings before we leave.

Can you treat an empty rental property?+

Yes — flea treatment between tenancies is one of our most common landlord jobs.
